People who live between Ga and MI I need your help

My oldest daughter is traveling from Fl to MI and I heard the weather is bad that a storm is coming in. Its a 17 hour drive and I don't believe she will make it. Can you guys who live between these states let me know how bad it is. She has a front wheel drive but I am still worried. The girl has lost her mind. I am so afraid she will be stuck in the cold somewhere. She won't be leaving Atlanta Ga till around 3 this afternoon, I just don't think she will make it the way the news is talking.

We have a blizzard warning here in Milwaukee until 3:00 this afternoon. 8-13" by the time it's done. If she's not leaving until 3:00, the snow will be out of the area by then. Plus, this ain't cold. Not dangerous cold. Cold to a FL resident, sure. But it's only going down to the 20's in MI tonight. Not to worry. She's just going to encounter rain.

Elaine, In Detroit here it has gotten colder and rained for two days but the temps are still above freezing. Overnight and early tomorrow morning will go down to mid to high 20's though, some water may freeze on the ground, but sunny in daytime tomorrow. Driving during the day should be fine by tomorrow around here. Snow only in northwestern part of state.

She will drive all night she plans to drive stright through. I wish I knew what rout she is going. She will meet my husband and get her Christmas gifts about 2 I will get him to ask her what way she is going. That child will cause me to have heart failure before its over with. To drive stright through from FL witha five year old child just seems unreal to me. I got it figured to a 17 hour drive and doesn't count stoping.

I-75 comes up from Georgia and enters MI south of Detroit. That would most likely be the route.
