Our league is full, draft order, payout

Okee dokee folks, we have the league filled up and ready to go (almost). Now that we're full, I'm going to "randomize" the draft order. I will do that before the weekend.
Secondly, ESPN is not charging $80 for the "The Edge" upgrade like they have in previous years so I need to put that $80 back into the payout pool. Do ya'll want to add the money back into the top three spots like it is now or add a payout for the 4th place team so if you make the playoffs you get your money back?
Looking for your suggestions...

Ok folks, with one week left in the FFL season, I would like to re-visit the pay schedule for the 1st thru 4th place teams.
I've thought a lot about it and I think the numbers talked about earlier in this thread need a little adjustment.
After spending so much time over the last 4 months researching players and putting a (somewhat) competitive team out there each week, I think the numbers need to be spread a little more evenly, ESPECIALLY between 1st and 2nd place.
What makes it so difficult, and possibly a little "unfair" is that the last couple of weeks, the best NFL teams sit their starters... the guys that got the FFL playoff teams where they are.
Anyway, you see where I'm coming from. Actually, the only person that would have a problem with my proposed payouts would be the person who ends up winning, now between Bill and Ruthie. The other 3 people would end up getting about the same, or more than what has been talked about already.
Unless there is a big problem with the way I'm looking at this... here is what the payouts will be for this season.
Payout pool starts at $600
4th place gets their entry fee back = $40
3rd place gets double their entry fee back = $80
Payout pool now = $480
2nd place gets 45% of the remaining pool ($480) = $215
1st place gets 55% of the remaining pool ($480) = $265
Lemme have it! If I need to explain where I'm coming from better, let me know!

I understand where you are coming from, but I'm not sure switching payouts coming up on the last week is really the right thing to do. However it is your league and I will of course abide by any changes you see fit to make. To be honest, I enjoy fielding a team each week.....the potentional payoff for a successful season is secondary.
If you feel that an adjustment is needed, I will suggest one change to your figures. Increase the spread between 1st and 2nd slightly. How about 1st.....$280 and 2nd.....$200? I say this knowing full well I could be taking $$$ from my own pocket.....just seems that the champion should take home a noticeable amount more than the 2nd place team.
Whatever you decide I can live with....and I'll be back next year to kick some more tail.

And I completely understand your point Bill. Trust me, I treat this as OUR league and never want to come across as dictating what the rules are going to be. I'm open to suggestions on just about any of the rules!
I'm in the finals in my work league and we were talking about how the last 2 weeks of the FFL playoffs were so different from the rest of the season and how 1st and 2nd place were kind of separated from 3rd and 4th simply because all the NFL starters are playing the first 2 weeks of the FFL playoffs (NFL weeks 14 & 15). Everyone should be "full strength" those first two weeks so all of the FFL playoff teams have the same chance to make it into the FFL championship bracket. My other league felt those 2 teams should be rewarded a little more than the 3rd and 4th place teams.
Anyway, I'm good with your suggestion of $280 and $200 if you and LadyLuv are good with it. I'm good with going with one of the earlier suggestions if that is the way you guys want it this season. You guys tell me how you want to do it!
