Post by jminmilwaukee on Sep 19th, 2003, 10:03am
Monday, October 4 / 2004 through Friday Oct 8.

$18.00 per month will pay your Room and food bill. Air is not included but Miami is cheap for most (around $200.00 round trip).

So, Airfair - Lodging and all the food you can eat comes out to about $90.00 per day per person.

Email me if your are Definatly intersted and I will be happy to get the ball rolling on this. No balconies on this ship which might be a good thing (hate to have jumpers).

You can't get balconies, or they would be a different price/ and or not included in the discount rate?  Just a question from someone who can't do without the fresh air or she is PUKING.  LOL.  Sounds like a great deal though !!!!!!!!!!!!!

The general concencious was a 3 or 4 day cruise as opposed to a 7 day deal. Unfortunatly, the newer ships with the balconies all seem to be 7day cruises.

I know, I know....I do love the balcony. I personally can't imagine cruising without BUT there is always the top deck.

During the shows at night you can normally have the whole top deck and bar to yourself which is really nice.

So who's in?

LOL ... sounds like great fun .... but another question.  The price you are quoting ......... would I be puking in a room by myself or is that for double occupancy ????  LOL ........ got to find another puker or sleep on the top deck !!!!!!!!!

Everyone has to double up. Significant other, clusterbud, whatever. QUarters can be close though so make sure you are compatible with your "bunk buddy".

Do not worry about sea sickness. It does happen but the ship always has some killer motion sickness pills onhand for the taking. They do not advertise this but it's true.

So, you've got over one year to plan, pay and get worked up over this. What's the holdup?

Anyone who is DEFINATLY in, please email your name, address and phone number to me. In a week or so I will compile the data and make arrangements to have your personal vacation planner give you a call.

Depending on the response I get I will try to book all of the rooms in the same area of the ship (easy access to imatrex and such).

Again, if you start now you can actually pay this thing off a little at a time which makes the vacation seem almost free by the time you get to it.

They do normally require some money down BUT at this price I can't imagine it will be much.

Man, a boat full of clusterheads heading for mexico........we can split the proceeds from the book deal once we all get out of the mexican jail!

Isn' the reason trips to the islands and what not are so cheap in October because it is their peak hurricane season??? Corect me if i'm wrong, Hurricane + Big Ass Boat = Bad Comination!!! :-/

Hurricanes move slow. Boats avoid them.

If a boat cannot depart due to bad weather, then they reschedule.

It is always a chance you take during the affordable months in the Carib but not a HUGE chance.

BTW - I need to make this very clear.

I am not trying to replace the convention. This is something I came up with just as a get together.

It is up to OUCH as to the when and where the convention takes place.

I do not want to stomp on anyones toes here.

Also, Please specify if you would like Oceanview or inside cabin.

Thanks,
Jmin
