Post by ExPat_jac on Aug 3rd, 2004, 4:06am Having found myself now in a far away third world, and being the sort to joke and kid around (seems the best way I've found to defeat the beast) I've started to pick up some of the local sence of humor and jokes.... Recently....it seems....to the people here (Indonesia) Heven is... An Indonesian Wife An American Paycheck A German Car And Chineese Cooking! Hell it seems is... An American Wife An Indonesian Paycheck A Chineese Car and German Cooking! My corolary to this, seeing as I am an American Ex_Pat, bt attempting to do this "natively" i.e. living on an Indoneasian salery is.... Jac's Pergatory is BEING an American with an Indoneasian Paycheck Not HAVING a car No Wife And no freakin idea what they are serving me to eat!!!! Have a great day folks! :) jac |
