Title: Re: worst movies you ever watched Post by taraann on Jan 11th, 2005, 8:19am I havent seen "eyes wide shut" and thanks to u all prolly never will now lol I vote for "natural born killers" oh and "catch me if you can" with tom hanks and leonardo dicacaprio....saw most of that in the theater and left early out of complete boredom |
||
Title: Re: worst movies you ever watched Post by Jeepgun on Jan 11th, 2005, 8:24am NO WAY!! Natural Born Killers was great! Great soundtrack, too! Catch Me If You Can was good entertainment, mostly because it was based on a true story... From Dusk Til Dawn was another stinker... God, did that movie suck! Too Young To Die was another awful travesty of film making... Gangs Of New York sucked. What a dumb movie... |

Title: Re: worst movies you ever watched Post by tpitts77 on Jan 11th, 2005, 8:37am How can anyone say a movie with a naked Nicole Kidman sucks ::) I agree with Jeepgun, NBK is an excellent movie. The worst movie ever is The Crow 2. |

Title: Re: worst movies you ever watched Post by Gator on Jan 11th, 2005, 8:38am I don't see a lot of movies, but Patriot Games is high on my list. It strayed so far from the book in just the first 15 minutes, I couldn't watch it. I hate it when they do that. Gator |

Title: Re: worst movies you ever watched Post by Hirvimaki on Jan 11th, 2005, 9:31am You people just don't know bad movies. Hands down, the worst movie ever made: A.C. Stephen's Orgy of the Dead Although the script was written by Ed Wood, Jr., he is not actually responsible for this painful, soul-numbing movie. If you like college-girl, wanna-be strippers showing off boobies in a parade of train-wreck dance numbers, this is it. Being an aficionado of bad movies (I love 'em), I almost wish I could say something good about this film, but to be honest, I've never been able to get through the whole thing in one sitting. But if you want bad, no BAD, this is the movie for you. A close second: Forbidden Zone A wonderfully painful movie set to the music of the Mystic Knights of the Oingo Boingo (Danny Elfman appears as the devil singing a Cab Calloway song). The movie was shot in black and white, not for the artistic magic of B&W, but because they did not have enough money for colour. It is worth a look if you like Oingo Boingo (Richard, Danny and Marie-Pascal Elfman all make an appearance) or Hervé Villechaize (Tattoo from Fantasy Island). It is campy, generally offensive and (actually) kind of fun if you like B-movie crap. Right up there, but with the added laughs of a young David Hasslehoff (as Boner, no less) singing: Revenge of the Cheerleaders Really, this movie is just a crappy excuse to get a lot of young women naked, but it is fun to laugh at Hasslehoff. Rounding off the list (and the only "slick" production): Show Girls Even a naked Elizabeth Berkley and Gina Gershon (Mmmm, yummy Gina Gershon) could not save this crap fest. Fabulous cinematography, but a glossy 8X10 of a piece of poop is still a picture of a piece of poop. Seriously though, looking at the previous posts, you people don't know what a BAD movie is... Title: Re: worst movies you ever watched Post by Bethany1 on Jan 11th, 2005, 9:31am Eyes Wide Shut really sucked, I agree with everyone. I also would like to add to the list: Girl with a Pearl Earring What about Bob |
||
Title: Re: worst movies you ever watched Post by Jeepgun on Jan 11th, 2005, 9:39am I've also watched some French and Italian movies that were just... Too awful for words (even foreign words!)... LOL Mars Attacks was pretty lame, too. Independence Day sucked, even though Will Smith made a valiant effort to save it. The Astronaut's Wife: Dud.... Red Water... Corny and thoroughly retarded. I'll think of more... LOL! |
||
Title: Re: worst movies you ever watched Post by floridian on Jan 11th, 2005, 9:45am Life is too short! If I don't like a movie, I won't sit through it. I agree with Bethany - the first 30 minutes of Girl with a Pearl Earring was incredibly boring. |

Title: Re: worst movies you ever watched Post by vig on Jan 11th, 2005, 10:24am I rarely walk out on movies.... most recent walk out... Around the World in 80 Days with Jackie CHan. Just plain bad I LIKED Gangs of New York Frank... and I have to admit I liked From Dusk Til Dawn a little, even if it was violent and stupid and WAAAAAAY the hell out there... I think Ed Wood's Plan 9 From Outer Space is generally accepted as the worst movie ever made. It's pretty bad |
||

Yep- a chick flick Frank...but especially funny if you're a Spanish girl (me) married to an uptight white dude (my hubby). Title: Re: worst movies you ever watched Post by Jayne on Jan 11th, 2005, 2:10pm I think any Movie with Mathiew Mc Cournety (whatever his name is ) Is bad. I think he is such an overrated actor. He OVER acts everything and genrally annoys the shite outta me. But, I wouldn't kick him out of bed if he needed a bit. Aslo, what the hell was the name of that outer space movie with George Clooney not so long ago. I call that the eyes wide shut of outer space. What a load of tripe. Mind you, I wouldn't kick George outta bed either, if he needed a bit. |

Title: Re: worst movies you ever watched Post by Charlie on Jan 11th, 2005, 9:38pm No fair picking on my hero: Ed Wood. I love all his movies. He's a cult unto himself. So bad, that they're good. Generally, I had a good time watching all the "bad" movies on Mystery Science Theater 3,000 too. "Try Mothman Prophecies" and the "Charlies Angels" thing for stuff that should be blown up and shot into space. If you have the kind of cable I have...11 HBOs (I have no choice. I get one, I get the rest....bastards) you get "Mars Attacks" six times a day here. I'm old enough to remember some of the Mars Attacks cards so it was fun...........Once but only once. Hated Jack Nicholson as a cowboy. Charlie |

Title: Re: worst movies you ever watched Post by PrettyH8Machine on Jan 12th, 2005, 12:03am The absolute worst movie ever: "Pieces" a super super cheesy low budget horror movie that was just too bad. Speaking of bad, my favorite 'worst' movie is an underground classic called "Frankenhooker" A genius invents a robot-controlled lawnmower that inadvertently chops up his virgin bride to be, and so he spends the movie collecting body parts from hookers to help restore his love. Once she comes back to life though, she is a mean bolt-necked street walker always greeting her victims with "Want A Date? Got 20 dollars?" Seen it about a hundred times. ;;D However, there is one 'bad, terrible cheesy movie' that I am dying to add to the collection. "Reform School Girls" with Wendy O'Williams as the prison bitch-maker. Classique!!! CD |

Title: Re: worst movies you ever watched Post by PrettyH8Machine on Jan 13th, 2005, 12:23am MOTEL HELL - was the reason I couldn't eat beef jerky for a couple of years. I love that movie! [smiley=laugh.gif] One movie that just sucked was "Identity" with John Cusack. That movie was terrible! I can't remember which Friday the 13th it was, but there was one that was so bad, you CHEERED when the boring, stupid characters were killed off. I loved "Magnolia" up until the frogs started falling from the sky. Can you say DUMB? CD |
