Title: Mean girls Post by pattik on Aug 5th, 2005, 11:34am I'm about to leave for my 40th high school reunion. Some of the female classmates who will be there would have qualified as the popular "mean girls" we laugh about today. I was definitely not one of them. My class was pretty small (175) so everyone knew everyone else's business. This ought to be a hoot! Who knows, maybe I will even come across a CH'er. I plan on taking pics, since I know some will be pretty difficult to recognize from their yearbook pics. ;;D |

Title: Re: Mean girls Post by nani on Aug 5th, 2005, 11:36am Have fun, Pat!!! Isn't it funny that none of that HS crap means a thing after all these years? I always remind young girls about that... it's can be so devastating at the time. I wasn't a "mean girl" either. Enjoy yourself!!! hugs, nani |

Title: Re: Mean girls Post by ExplodingEyeBall on Aug 5th, 2005, 11:38am I'm assuming that the camera is for getting revenge against the mean girls. ;;D I know that you weren't part of that crowd. Have fun. |

Title: Re: Mean girls Post by LeLimey on Aug 5th, 2005, 11:38am Good grief Patti.. there were 140 girls in my whole school! I've never ever been to a school reunion.. None of the schools I went to actually exist anymore! I hope you have a lovely time, tell us all about it when you get back and I can live vicariously through you. I'd love to know what its like seeing people you went to school with again after all this time. |

Title: Re: Mean girls Post by cootie on Aug 5th, 2005, 11:44am My last reunion was cancel'd cuz of lack of interest so they shifted it to someone's house for a pool party. Yeah....have it at one of the UPPITY MUCKS houses......no thanks. I got along with everyone but.....I didn't get mean till I got out of high school and learned all I know now from school. Har-har. The hoods always protected lill ole me for some reason.....course I started out in a rough neighborhood and we moved when I was in first grade. But that was a plus cuz I would't of wanted any of them MEANIES pickin on me......they were BAD NEWS......so was lucky they liked me. I have a bark and never really had to bite so that helped.....ya learn that from the bad neighborhoods. I love seein all the hotty totty girls real heavy and totally opposites. NOTHING against bein heavy but these girls did nothing but flaunt how cool and pretty there were in school every single day. Had a different outfit for each day of the year and got to do all the coolest stuff......went on big ass vacations and bragged......parents were well off. But now......were all the same. Only there bigger then me (course eveyone is bigger then me tho)......and I love it. Guess they didn't wanna keep up with there looks ect after gettin married and kids. Uppity is out Pam |

After your arson spree, I can't imagine why. [smiley=laugh.gif] A pastor is standing before his congregation, and the subject of the sermon is forgiveness, and he says, "Anyone who has no one that they need to forgive, please stand." He was attempting to illustrate the point that everyone has someone in their life that they need to forgive. Instead, a little old lady rises shakily to her feet. The pastor comes down from the pulpit with his microphone, and he asks the elderly woman, "You have no one in your life that needs forgiveness." The elderly woman says no, there's no one. The pastor insists, "Certainly, in all of the years that you've walked this earth, there have been people who have wronged you, though!" The little old lady smiled sweetly and said into the microphone, "Well, yes.... But I've outlived all of those bitches." [smiley=laugh.gif] Have fun, Patti. Reunions can be a real eye-opener! :) |

Oh, I plan on having fun! Thanks for all the good advice, everyone, especially Pam's and Frank's. Nani is so right about how time changes the dynamics between people. I'll try to be "nice" to everyone. ;;D(otherwise they won't let me take their pics). |

Title: Re: Mean girls Post by cootie on Aug 5th, 2005, 1:21pm You can always accidentally cut off there heads taken bad pics and blame it on the camera if they seem a bit on the crude side still.......or have em line up along a ledge and keep tellin em to step back a bit more.....just make sure the BAD ones are in the rear !!!! Evil is what evil did Pam Just jokein of course........you can maybe jus keep the evil thoughts to yourself and get a smile out of it.....possibilities are endless. ;) |
