Title: they ruined it all Post by Tardvark on Mar 27th, 2005, 1:02am My name is Matt. I am 16. About 2 years ago my headaches started and it has been all downhill since then. They ruined my freshmen year of highschool and are still going strong as i move on to my junior year. my freshmen year i ended up being taken out of school and being home schooled because of the headaches. i have been on every medication under the sun and nothing helped me. Hydrocoedine,Topamax,Neurontin,Elavil, and so many more i cant remember. After a while i got sick of my doctor writing prescriptions and charging my mom money for pills that didnt do shit and took it into my own hands. being a teenager it wasnt hard to find some drugs to scribe myself. my friend gave me some marijuana and god be praised it got rid of my headache! sure i ate 9 packs of ramen noodles that afternoon but i didnt care, i didnt have a blinding headache for the first time in 2 years! now i toke up every day and have no problems with headaches. my mom thinks they just went away but only me and a few of my close friends know the truth. for those of you that think there is no way to cure your headaches there may be hope! im not promising anything but it worked for me. |

Title: Re: they ruined it all Post by nani on Mar 27th, 2005, 1:42am Sorry, kiddo, pot doesn't help CH. If you're interested in a treatment that is not a pharmaceutical treatment look at the kudzu threads on the Medications board. An herbal treatment that has been very effective for a few of us here. Please check with your doctor and/or your parents before trying anything new. Pain free wishes, nani |

Title: Re: they ruined it all Post by jokrs2 on Mar 27th, 2005, 4:04pm I smoked pot for twice as many years as you've been alive and if it's stopping your "CH" pain you may be at the wrong place. From your own statements you have not identified yourself with having any of the true symptoms, yet. [smiley=huh.gif] And as far as all the other stuff you've mentioned...I've tried that, too. Some of us are having some relief with a product called Kudzu. And if you think sedation is the answer, I have been put completely under and woke up with a kip 10. By the way, have you looked at any of the tabs on the left side of your screen [smiley=huh.gif] . Develop a report with some people in here that have a great deal of knowledge, and listen. 2 ears and one mouth, it works! ;;D Not saying that you don't have headaches....but clusters? :) Edited to add. One of my boys who is much older than you had headaches too. (Probably from the fear of getting busted). He started doing some of the things "that you do everyday", and he became a pain in everyone elses ass, and will be let out of prison in august....go figure ::) Never had clusters! Stopped eating just ramen and started eating a better diet with protien in it. (Good for the brain) quit getting stoned everyday to be one of the in crowd and doesn't sound like you anymore....Just a little tip. 8) And if you don't think i know what I'm talking about....have you ever had an $800.00 a day habit? 8) I used to deal 100 lot sheets of Owsley Windowpane in the late 60's and 70's when I wasn't parking two Bentleys up my nose? Get real! |
