Why do you think he is offering a truce? Could it be because he is tired of living in a hole in a mountain like a rat ? Maybe its because his buddies keep dieing off? Talk is cheap, I for one am glad we are doing more than talking.

They'll never get him cuz he works at Walmart..........he works in the hunting dept. I think he attends there 'safe terrorist' meetings Pam

Nah, he has lived in holes for a long time and lost plenty of his colleagues since he started a war against the Soviets. He has always put down terms he wants us to meet along with his threats. His idea of a truce is that we withdraw from the middle east and stop supporting dictators there, then he won't attack. More threats, more demands. Same old communiques.

What do you think he means by saying he is goin to attack the people ? Shit he says really makes me nervous as hell......I'm not sure what he is thinkin or has already planned. I think it is odd how they show bombed out cars and stuff over there and all these people standin around close or diggin thru the wreckage and pullin on stuff or walkin around it starein at the cameras filming and even touchin stuff or draggin it out. People normally RUN LIKE HELL when somethin like that happens and keep runnin. They seem to be infatuated and entertained. Natural born killers Pam

Offering a "Truce" can have several implications, trick is guessing which is correct.

1. He's beat up pretty bad and trying to save face
2. He's holding the trump card and is about to play it
3. He's lying
4. He's about to be captured, and wants to live
5. He's really really bored
6. All of the above

Probability of any one of the above... equal

Almost right. God's favor - not Muhammed's. Prophets like Muhmammed, Jesus and Moses are revered in Islam, but they only reveal the will of God and are not worshiped.

The Fatwas all say that you can fight America to get it out of the lands of Islam, but you have to give America a chance to withdraw to avoid the conflict. He knows his ultimatum won't be accepted, but has to make it before he acts. Unfortunately, he ignores those little prohibitions in the Koran against taking innocent lives, but when have fundamentalists of any religion had respect for non-believers? And how often do governments respect the rights of non-combatants? In WWII, Korea, and Vietnam, the US established 'free fire zones' and anyone in that zone (military and civilian) were considered fair targets for the bombs that were dropped. Bin Laden is in the process of continuing to define the US and Europe as free fire zones.
