Title: Hello from Diamond HA clinic
Post by UN solved on Dec 10th, 2006, 4:28pm
Hey everyone !! I'm still @ the Diamond headache Clinic doing Histamine. It's working this time too ... the cluster attacks have stopped !!  :)  I hope it last for awhile this time...but I'll take any break I can get.  ;;D

This is my first glimpse of the outside world in 2 weeks !! I won't be able to reply to anyone until I get back home and put my comp back together Tuesday.

I've got an interesting article to post when I get back home.  ;)

I was asked to speak about clusters to some pharmacy students the other day and  did. It went great ! This pharmacy person here is doing all he can to spread some knowledge about clusters. He is teaching his students that cluster patients' needs (of meds) should be considered as a STAT priority !! Maybe in the future we won't have wait for prescriptions anymore  ;;D

Hope you're all pain free !!!  :)

Glad to hear things are going well up there. Also proud of you for agreeing to public speak in a forum with the students. Good job!

What Jimi said works for me too.  I would like to add that I hope your PF time lasts for an enternity.  You've paid your dues and then some!

Amen to that.  Glad to hear that the histamine desensitization is working for you this time.

Best wishes,

George

Thank you Unsolved for spending the time teaching the medical staff about CH, even while you are in hospital yourself  :-*

Best wishes that it works for a long time for you!!

I always loved having the opportunity to teach while in the hospital, myself!  Whenever I'd get a med student (or even a resident for that matter), I'd talk their ear off explaining about clusters and my other headache type.  Small comfort sometime, eh?

Hugz,
Carrie :)

PF Wishes!

Glad its working for ya!  I swear, only a clusterhead would spend their in-patient holiday (said because it costs as much as a trip to Eurpoe and someone else changes the sheets) training medical professionals.
I pray you have a complete and total break for a millenium or two!

Hello back at ya!  Glad to hear you are getting some pain free time.  Hope is lasts forever.

Thanks for speaking to the students.  I don't know if you are used to public speaking, but knowing CH as you do, I'm certain you gave them a real education on the subject.  God bless.

Sandy
