Title: Re: Any weekend plans?? Post by brewcrew on Jan 12th, 2007, 5:30pm Sorry - I couldn't resist. Son is playing with the pep band tonight at the HS basketball game. Dinner tomorrow night at a neighbor's home. Sunday - not sure yet. Keeping it pretty close to home. It's supposed to get a lot colder and I think we're looking at some snow Sunday and Monday. 'Bout time. |

Title: Re: Any weekend plans?? Post by B14CK5H33P on Jan 12th, 2007, 8:26pm Yep, same damn thing I did last weekend. Same thing every weekend. Probably get hijacked at some point by one or more friends and go down to the Irish pub, wind up back here twisted up tighter than an idiots watch, ripping MP3's to the harddrive. Then, once again the 12 hour audioservant of The SOYLENT RADIO Show hosted by "Mack Danger" on www.satellite11.com. Playing all kinds of great shit, forgotten about shit, and then there's the 3:30pm DANGER RANT where I go off on everything from Britneys shaving habits, to customer service people who can't speak or understand ENGLISH and THEN get my fucking cable turned off the day AFTER I paid my bill! Geez.... I didn't think this through when I signed up for the gig but 12 hours is a LONG FUCKING Broadcast. I just trip out that I have listeners who catch the whole show, some of them just egging me on in AIM messages or tagbox on the sat11 page. One week was a race to see if I end the show before passing out, lol. Oh and for those of you who like to listen once in awhile, the 10th Hour Tribute this week is The Scorpions and man, I mean like - old Scorpions (Uli, Michael Schenker, yeah!) Title: Re: Any weekend plans?? Post by Redd715 on Jan 12th, 2007, 8:39pm I'm dressing up my 14 year old baby girl to look all of 24, (and she's got the curves to pull it off too) for her Freshman Formal dance. Now I didn't buy the gown, and I'm telling you it's cut down to where I wouldn't want to see a 14 year old wearing one, but I didn't see it untill tonight and there isn't time to get a gown bought and altered before 8PM tomorrow evening when there is still hair appointment and jewlery and hose and makeup everything else to buy. I'll post picks of the transformation of my little baby girl into a stunning young woman... Ahhh they grow up too darn fast..... :'( |

Title: Re: Any weekend plans?? Post by sandie99 on Jan 13th, 2007, 6:23am Let's see now, me and my best supporter begun the day with fighting with our guinea pig, Eetu, because his nails were bit too long and we had to cut them a bit. Those who have never done that... I'm yet to meet a guinea pig who would enjoy the process and let it done quickly! Then we went grocery shopping and cooked noodles with ham and salad. In less than hour we're off to visit my best supporter's sister, her husband and their son. They are going to make pasta from the scratch and I'm excited; I've never seen that done before. We're taking them beer and home-made berry muffins and oatmeal cookies, which I made yesterday. We are going to watch The Godfather part 2 after the meal. But to get there we're going to take a long walk, about an hour and bit more. It's -4C in here and bit snow on the ground, so the journey would be interesting. But sometimes we've had -30C this time of year, so in comparison with that -4 is nothing. Sunday... so far I haven't got anything specific planned. It'll be one relaxed day with my boyfriend and our guinea pigs. :) Sanna |
