These are just a handful of the pictures that I've taken this week (trying to get a decent sunset). I haven't processed any more of them tonight, cos' my head is hurtin' and photoshopping is not conducive to getting rid of this thing (hopefully Maxalt and clonopin will kick in shortly and kill this f*cking meegraine).

Beautiful as always. Is that Caddo Lake or Toledo Bend? I love the colors in the second set, reminds me of running my lines on a quiet Sunday morning. Nothing more peaceful or tranquil.

Both of those are D'Arbonne, right up from the house. I just told Jimbo that I'd like to rent a cabin on Toledo Bend and get some pictures there. So many lakes, so many sunsets, so little time.

Beatiful pictures, wow. :) I must admit that I absolutely love that first pic. I enjoy that feeling that I'm back at our summer cottage, looking at sunset right there...

I can picture myself sitting there on the dock in a chaise lounge chair, box of beer and a fishin pole. No phone, no computer. that would be sweet!

Have you been to Caddo yet ? Its beautiful. Huge cyprus trees with spanish moss sweeping the top of the water. Lillies the size of a small tables with egrets walking across them. A gator or two swimming by. I used to spend days at a time out there. Its another world. One of my favorite places.
