Well the guy was irritating but looks to me like the officer was having a bad day. Little too quick on the trigger as far as I am concerned. And for 5mph over the limit. ::)

And a cop with a new toy he was DYING to use...sigh......guys like him to make it a little tough on the rest of us.

I guess the hard thing is for the cops to judge which one is stalling because he is simply stalling and which one is stalling because he is reaching for his hidden gun ?

I have seen many cops stopping cars for minor offense to be shot through the window ! :P

Well, I'd hate to have to justify upping the ante to that level without a damn good reason, and I didn't see it in the video. 'Course, it's a dash cam, and you can't really see what the officer saw.

Around here, it would most likely be a true pain in the a$$, and the paperwork would be hell. I don't know what it's like down around Austin, though. Remind me if I'm ever driving through there to be real polite if I get stopped.
