This impressive video clip of a snow plowing train in Goodland, KS brings back some good ol’ “Runaway Train” 80s movie memories - or maybe that’s just me?

Looks cool a big ass train blasting through the snow like that. I work right beside the train tracks and "our town" ::) put a courtesy parking lot right next to the tracks.

Yup, you guessed it! A few years ago we had a big storm and the parking lot was pretty much full of cars and pick-ups and here comes this train doing about 60MPH through town and completely covered the vehicles. The sad part was most of the windows were smashed out and they were filled with snow. :P
Ah, winter! ;;D

impressive. I wish I had one, we get stuck using a tie in front guard plate. Its nearly as effective. When we have bad weather coming I always wish for ice instead of snow. Snow will pack on top of the rail, Ice shatters and gets thrown off.
