Again, hi there! I found this site just a few minutes ago, and it's looking very promising! I came on today to look for some sort of support after I had had a headache this morning that's still holding on right now, and I'm starting to get into "fed-up mode." :o I'm fairly certain that I'm getting cluster headaches, but I can't be sure they're not stress-induced. I get the teary eyes, light sensitivity, restlessness, nausea (which gets worse if I drift off to sleep then wake up again a few minutes later), a consistent headache schedule (I get woken up by the headaches in the very early morning), muscle weakness, pain that always stays behind my left eye, and durations of 2-4 hours to the ones that linger around all day. My doctor doesn't want to put any names to my headaches for sure, but would this seem like a typical cluster headache to you? I checked the Kip scale, and I think I would have anywhere from a 7 to an 8. Thanks very much for your support!!

doesn't sound like clusters to me.

Need more info though & I'm not a doc....

G'day Nicole. A really good place to start is the button on the left above 'the kip scale'. It's a little quiz that's been known to help many. Give it a go and let us know how you get on.

We're not doctors here but keep asking questions and we'll help you every inch of the way.

Hi, It sounds like you have a few of the symptoms but then some that don,t sound like cluster traits at all. I have not yet been nausea with any of the cluster headaches I have had. I also have not had muscle weakness. Maybe you should ask your doctor to refer you to a nurologist, he would or should help you pin point the problem.

Hi Nicole

Sorry you are hurting. AussieBrian is correct, do the cluster quiz.

On the left hand side there is a lot of information but if you don't know something just ask. It is advisable to go and see a neurologist if your headaches persist.
