I just was diagnosed last week
I dont know what I am called yet I havent had enough
hits
But I am just finishing an 8 hour fun --fest
Im so glad I found this site

Welcome Gavin,

I'm north of you in Redding. Nope you certainly are not alone.

Can you tell us little about what the Dr. who diagnosed you has you on? Did he give you a script for Oxygen? What Preventatives and abortives?

Don't be scared...you will learn to control them and we will help with any questions you may have that come up. None of us are Dr.s here, but Collectively I can safely say we have thousands of years of experience in dealing with this.

Dang you're as old as I am, I have a 30 year head start on the head aches though! What Linda said....

Tell us what medications he is giving you, what has and hasn't worked for you in the past, and how you were diagnosed! None of us are doctors so we don't give "medical" advice, we will tell you what has and hasn't worked for us, to arm you with information to take to your doctor.

Also what linda said, you'll never be alone with this stuff again.!!! Welcome to the board.

I thought I had a bad toothach at first
But it would compleaty go away---just like that
I was on the phone with my doc. talking about anouther matter and bang I got a hit
I told her what was going on
She ---- right off the bat----- said cluster headaches
I went in the next day----and while i was talking to her
My lower jaw started to ache onnnnnnnn tooo
my teeth she put me on O2
bam went away
Im still new to this I can count my bad days on 2 hands
I guess its wait an see oh boy
I take imitrex nasal spray--I dont think it works
BUT BUT BUT 3 glasses of wather HAS
Stopped it 3 times now try it

Three glasses of water...where's the can?
Imitrex N/S is too slow and doesn't work all that well. Try the injectors and 02. Or just 02

Hi Everybody
Just leting you know how the newbi is doing
I havent had a hit since my 8hr 14 hits day in hell
8 days ago
Iv managed to stop 5 attacks with water
As soon as I feel the pain start in my lower jaw
3 glasses of cool tap water
God I hope im done with this for awhile
Every little pain-------Oh no!!!! here he comes!!!!
Anyway tell me how you are doing
