I understand there is a good chance of growing out of these things. Is there any info on age range of that. I'm 45 years old and have been suffering for seven years. Would anyone have an idea of how long before I get normal again? tanks.
I started lithium a month ago and found relief for about three weeks then it stopped working. Oh well.

I'm 56 and haven't had a cycle for about 4 years.

Could be hardening of the arteries. :'(

Hi! :)

I've read that ch is supposed to stop or ease when one hits 40s. My teacher who suffered ch for decades has been PF for 10 years and she's in her 50s. ;D

But, when I was diagnosed with ch in January, my neurologist said to me to be prepared to live with ch for the rest of my life. And I'm 23, so it was bit depressing... :(

Besically, your ch can leave any day or accompany you until the end, nobody knows. I've read that there are ch patients who got their very first attack after turning 70!

I do hope for all of us that we'll find the way to beat this devil soon... :)

I'm 67. It's clear that my cycles are farther apart and shorter.

Have never seen a study of this question showing any data but several doc's comments that "aging out". Of course, we may leave one disorder so that we have time to cope with all the new ones which come with middle-, late- age!

I'm 43.

I'm 2 months past my most recent disastrous clusters.
I busted the cycle with clusterbusters.

I don't think they would've just stopped on their own. I believe they needed help. Hopefully it's permanent. Knock on wood.

I'm 46 and other than some recent shadows I've been pf since Feb. '03. My cycles usually start in the fall and last 3 to 6 months.
I recently started the clusterbuster treatment and now hoping to stay pf for a loooong time.
