I think that a "user" is registered and can post while a "guest" is not registered and can not post but can still read everything. I think.

A user is registered with your IP under your account. A guest can use your computer with his/her own account info, or if your IP permits, on your account. Normally, a guest has to have a separate account. Is that muddy enough?

A guest is someone you invite in for a couple of beers.
A user is someone who just shows up and drinks it all.
Simple.

Why should someone not registered to be here be able to monitor what is typed here?---IF thats the case.
Im still not clear on this, or do you have to be registered to be a guest. if thats the case how come a "guest" dont show up as being active and reading the board?
