Its funny but this time of the year friends and Family come to mind.
Through the year I have been angery at friends and yet I never held a gruge cause,
I can get bitchy and I know I am not always right. Anytime a friend is lost for any reason,
it leaves a void in my life. Some move, some get mad, some you just hear from from time to time.
Well I been missing some good friends that have drifed away. Some I don't know where they are others I do but
angery words have sent them a far. I still hold these people dear in my heart.
I been worried about one friend and missing him.
Today I was headed out to close on my new home and its funny but he was on my mind.
I had gotten my mail before I left the house. I was in the driveway of my new home waitting for everyone to get there so we could do the walk through. I was thinking, man I wish my friend could be here with me and see this.
I open my mail and when I got to one it was addressed to me no return address. It was a card.
the card said Seasons Greetings when I open it it said " E never give up- never give in- Be You- Always Love and my friends name.
I smiled but shead a tear and thought man He is here with me. I wrote him tonight to tell him what a great gift he sent me.
A friendship that will never die. One that only holds special times, no anger no sadness just wishes of good things to come.
What a wonderful thing. Sometimes when people go away they are just like you they have not forgotten. They just moved on.
They probley aren't mad either but just like you to stuborn to say anything.
If there is someone you are thinking about this year, that you have not talked to in a long time. Pick up the phone say hi, or send them a email or a card. That person just might need that card that email or that call.!!!!!!
Its Christmas time for giving, time for family and friends.
I know the card I got sits on my new mantal piece and its one of the greatest gifts I have ever had. It cost very little but the meaning was priceless!
