Wow, I haven’t seen you guys since Jerry died! I didn’t know it was you when I greeted you and told you about my meds. Then I saw your pics. What the hell are you doing in Indiana? Remember the “Tri-Holiday Party Week” back in 1988, at Kaiser Convention Center in Oakland: Chinese New Year, Valentines Day and Mardi Gras? The “Fat Tuesday” concert with the Neville Brothers opening for the Dead, and a 45 min. “Iko, Iko”, with all of them on stage? It was the first time I tried Indica. You got hitched for a couple of mules?…GROOVY MAN!! Sorry about the wool blankets, I always told you to elope.
Seriously, you are a beautiful couple and I’m so sorry that you had to find us, but you are blessed to have each other.

David J: Whoa! slow down dude! This is obviously a case of mistaken identity. I'm a Deadhead, but not Mary. The last time I was them was in Oakland but that was in 86.
We've lived in Indiana since I retired from the Navy in 87.
Ounce refers to the snow leopard, not the magical herb that everyone knows and loves.
The outfits we have on are for a historical re-enactment that we atteneded two years ago. They are called "rendezvous". We do the 1740 time period. I made the buckskin dress that Mary is wearing and she made most of the outfit that I'm wearing.
Now I gotta go to the flicks and take a look at yer photo... ;D
