Title: Update Post by catlind on Aug 7th, 2002, 6:09pm Just thought I'd let everyone know that I'll be getting my home O2 on Friday, paid for by the military health care system and all. They had to do some fighting with the HMO but in the end they had too many people on my side fighting for it. YAY. So here's hoping better days are ahead. I've had my family here for the last week so I won't be around much until next week. Other than that things are fairly good here - it's a stressful week as mothers visiting tend to make things stressful...you know that mode we all go into (or at least some of us) to show we're perfect! LOL. Wishing everyone PFDAN Cat |

Title: Re: Update Post by Slammy on Aug 8th, 2002, 10:33am Great News Cat! WTF is a non-rebreather mask..... I just have a mask that covers my nose and mouth..... Slammy 8) |

Title: Re: Update Post by Not4Hire on Aug 8th, 2002, 11:04am Hey Slammy..... the NONREBREATHER mask is the one with the bag... the ONLY way to use o2 for clusters.... all the info is on the buttons to the left and on the OUCH site.... this mask allows you to breathe pure 100% o2 without mixing with ambient air (at about 20% oxygen)....... another good tip is to use the bubbler bottle.... filters the o2 thru water and humidifies it to keep your nose and throat from drying up...... good luck Cat...... |
