Title: Screw work!
Post by suzy617 on Dec 26th, 2002, 5:29pm
I've had it, I've had enough. I'm playing hookie tomorrow and on my way out the door to atlantic city. I have the worse luck in the world when it comes to gambling but what the hell. I swear I'll quit forever if I come home a loser!  Wish me luck please......

Uhuh!

I'd go with Jonny's advice anytime. It is just as addictive as gambling, but it  does not cost a cent!

LMAO!!!!   "proper lay" ... LOL LOL

Hey Suzy...(as a dealer in a casino)... don't forget to tip the dealer if you have a good time!!  Don't base tips on if you win or lose.. tip if you have a good time.. and if you don't .. tell them ... "Hey.. i would have tipped you if you would at least smile or talk or something."   It's fun letting them know they were an ass.  But .. if you have a good time.. put them on the line with ya!  They will appreciate it - and at least they'll be on your side.
AND... GOOD LUCK TO YA!!!
Let us know if you win!!

Tina..

Ps.. Jonny... LOL...

Suzy.... I wish you the same luck I had in Vegas 3 years ago...... $3.500 .........

And agree with woobie.... tip, tip, tip....

If something goes wrong (like me with roulette, my usual game)..... go with slots. If you have a little "pot" go with Caribbean stud poker (with insurance) and play according the "statistic laws"

Good luck!!!!

woobie...do you guys wear those little outfits at your casino...been to several and some had a theme and the girls dressed so cute !!!!! Always thought that'd be a very interestng job...kinda cool !! Unless the noise gets to of of all the slots and elelctronic music. I have a regualr cruise ship slot machine in my rec room.......it drives us nuts when it is on to long. Pam

woobie is right about the tips.

Most dealers, at least in Vegas, only make minimum wage and some even less. Their real income is from tips.

Same goes for the cocktail waitress'.

The unfortunate thing about tipping is that the dealers that act like jagoffs get the same amount (because of tip sharing) as the ones that are friendly and fun to be around. To bad the good dealers have to work twice as hard because of a few shitty dealers with bad attitudes!

My best tip for crappy dealers: Never fry bacon in the nude :o

Good luck,

Jimbo

Hmmmm, should have listened to you. I was up a few hundred yesterday morning but my friends decided to stay all day, went on the slots and lost it all.  >:(
Well my new years resolution is to quit gambling and that is what I shall do! Glad to be home, my ass is killing me from sitting for a 36 hours, LOL.

Hi! We make regular runs to AC even though we are not great gamblers! Actually I like to stay in Brigantine on the off season and hit AC and Cape May while it is quieter.  Once I won $1000 on a poker machine-you would have thought I won $1 million dollars I was so excited. I lost $50 immediately after that (within 10 minutes) so I packed up the rest and went home.

Jabeen, thats the way you gotta do it. Leave when your ahead.  Unfortunately I didnt have my car so I had to wait for the winners to leave.  By that time it was too late for me.   Just put a big "L" on my forehead, still pissed off at myself for not having enough self control but then again I never have............ ;D
PFD'S to all
From your loser cluster sis......

Yes.. dealers only make minumum wage.. and rely HEAVILY on tips ...  and so do cocktail, and bartenders, and slot people.. and security... we ALL do at a casino!!  (Just so you know!!)

Cootie.. YES.. I call my uniform the "monkey suit".  I hate it.. I look like an overgrown pineapple.  The cocktail waitresses where I work wear next to nothing (FER REAL!).. and the noise does bother me.. but after doing it for 7 years, I can usually tune it out.

And yes.. you HAVE to leave when you're ahead.

Hey.. i gotta question.. do any of you gamblers have a superstitious Thing you bring with you??  Last night, there was a woman on my table who brought a stuffed LOBSTER with her.. put it on her shoulder.. and called it "PUFFY!"   ... she won like crazy.. and said it was Puffy's magical mo joe!!!  LMAO!!!!

One time.. a lady brought a banana with her..and told me she's never been LUCKY without it..
Hmmmmmmmmmmmmm.........
