jonny...thanx man, awesome site. I will go back there and browse around. Do you remember the bikes that Arlen Ness built? Some damn nice scoots.

kim... knuckles are far righteous babe! My first ride, I think I was 6, on the back of my step dads old flat head Harley. Talk about vibration! Roll Eyes

Always wanted a Studebaker Avanti. Learned to drive in a '52 Champion wagon. Undecided

I still have Pogo books. I loved Walt Kelly's stuff. I did Calvin and Hobbes too. Mary says I'm Calvin all grown up. I asked her when I had grown up. I thought old Peter Pan had a pretty good idea when I first saw that as a kid and I've stuck to it! ;D

thanx guys (and gals)

Oh...........looking backnow, I see  pops (clarke gable) and  see Mom ( lauren bacall)..........my fingers reach  out to the smiles, but they fade  in the  twighlight...........a faded glossy of  times out of pages too crisp to fully recall.....yet they were there.  I was not, but they were.   The confidence - and the innocence --jolts me to present, and I find a longing  for that bright  white chested  bloak long vanquished at the boardwalk.................

Brassie,

Dude, maybe you should rethink the Peter Pan analogy. He was always flying around in the shadows (hence the “tinkle bells”, let me pee in peace, dang it!) and he was always played by a girl.

No doubt I have always been a harley fan.  But I have yet to see a Harley fan at our local club that hasn't gone totally gaga over these bikes.  I mean, they have a 502 Big Block V-8 with over 1300 lbs of weight on 'em.

Rev.....we gotta stand next ta onea dem babies and look it over at a swapmeet while the guy fired it up and let it run a while fer a small crowd. Really different !! They appear ta be so big and bulky......to much weight.......it'd prolly be better ta have onea them out in the wide open spaces where ya can jus ride ride ride.....not fer that suburban area crusiein or havein ta go thru lotta small towns and stops. I wouldn't want to set one down, I can tell you that.  At 1300 pounds and 35,000 dollars, that is a big mistake.

It's a nice bike...had ta get used to it since he was only used ta older ones fer 20 yrs....they set different and balanced different. Hey Rev,
There is only 1 rule about riding bikes.

DON"T FALL DOWN!

There are only 2 types of bikers.

Those that HAVE fallen down and

those that ARE GOING TO fall down.
