Like I told my 3rd grade nun when she said to me "Tommy Meyer, don't be such a smart ass!" To which I replied "Better a smart ass than a dumb ass like Chris Pollack." WHAP!!! That was the sound of her hand meeting my head.

Paige--no one has ever admitted, in a public forum, to being related to me.

I feel like Steve Martin in The Jerk: "I'm some body! The new phone book is here!"

Thanks for making my day.  Cheesy

Well Tom, someone had to admit it sooner or later.  I am just very brave!  Glad I made you smile today.

There is a difference between representing a company that you are peddling "miracle cure" products for, and a CHer who has tried something that seems to work.  If a cure is found for CH...we will be the first to know about it!  I have no sympathy for this guy.  Email him again Don!   Grin

Prense,
I totally agree with you...If they're out to make some kind of profit, well then....one might guess why they are so overenthusiastic!  This also can relate to meds like what happened with neurontin being pushed for off-label uses, which BillyJ so kindly pointed out to me!  This morning a doc told me that neurontin has been proven to treat nothing...they just give it to people when they don't know what to give them!  Haha...I laughed.

My favorite is when people say, "Oh but have you tried motrin?"  Gee, no I don't think I have.  I wanted to try all the BIG drugs and hospitalizations before I went to my cabinet and grabbed the bottle of ibuprofin off the shelf!  What are they?  Nuts?!  DUH

(and I am going to the orthodontist this afternoon just to rule out TMJ and just to shut up everyone who keeps telling me that orthodontic mouth guards cured their headaches!)

If a mouthguard cured headaches, then I wouldn't have any problems.  Been wearing a guard for years, doesn't freakin' help.  Tell those people to kiss my butt.

What she said...exactly.
All my mouth guard does is prevent me from grinding my teeth to little tiny nubs. But what do I know?

LOL Gena,

Yeah ya see I'm already missing 2 teeth on the bottom jaw that never grew in as baby teeth or permanent teeth.  Already had retainers and braces from when I was 6 through right now I still have the stupid bottom retainer glued in behind front 4 teeth (should be front 6, but that's where I'm missing 2!).  I've been thru all the dental stuff...and I, too, have some nice teeth...for a nice $$!

I do not want to spend thousands of dollars more (even if it IS my parents' money) on fixing what is not broken!  I do not have any longer bad teeth or messed up jaws...but I'll go so that an official professional can say that.  Wink

Now THAT is funny.

The rest of this thread serves no purpose and will never make the message board a kinda gentler place...Clusterheads are uncouth louts....the satanic influences here are too deeply engrained....nothing will change...all is lost.
