What a great lady. We really got to know her the first time DJ had surgery.

To DJs' Mom:

We know what you are going thru and want you to know that you too have supporters out here in Clusterville.

May we hear from you again? And please keep us posted. We all love your wonderful son, and compliment you on being the kind of mom who would raise such a guy.

You're absolutely right, Donna - Linda is a great lady. I was lucky enough to spend some time with her when she came through Calgary, recently.

This kind of surgery has got to be so scary for a mom, but DJ's made of the same stuff she is - they're both so strong. But I hope she knows that we ARE here for her too.

(I'm sure she'll have to show identification, mind you, to convince the hospital staff that she's his mom and not his sister. She must have had DJ when she was 5 or something.)

LETS HEAR IT FOR DJ'S MOM... I would love to meet you and give you a big squeeze for raising such a fine young man... I'm sure you've had your share of worries too...

Hey DJ's Mom.

Zipperhead (your son) called me today and told me that you will be calling me when he gets to ICU, I keep my phone on vibrate and in my back pocket....all the power tools I use vibrate like hell so if I dont answer just leave voice mail and I'll get right back to you.

Hey everyone...

My Mom really appreciated all of the posts today! I gave her the quick run-down on how the board works so she can put a post up.

Don't know exactly when she'll be able to get an update up, I'm sure she'll be exhausted the evening after the surgery.

When she does post, she'll be logged in as me, just so you know...
