Who are you, and why should we give you our most intimate medical, and or ridiculous, irrelevant information most of which has nothing to do with CH what so ever, if you will not even let us see your personal e-mail address!  You have your e-mail address hidden, what for? Why are you hiding?

I usually wouldn't care if someone has thier e-mail hidden, but due to the situation.......I smell a skunk!

Yeah, that's right Jonny..Hemorrhoids....sheesh....

And Ditto Don!!!

Bedhead.

If you want a survey, go to the left of the screen. You will find all the info about clusterheads. Other than hemmroids info.

WTF does that mean? I tend to tear up when the flag isn't up on my mailbox.

Or do I get CH because my house isn't fenshued (sp?)

Michael Mueller?
Bedhead???

Bedhead is the name of a range of hair setting potions over here, probably as good for your CH as whatever he is peddling!

If you want information on a survey for CH, then I suggest you patiently wait for the international CH specific questionairre that will be coming out.

You can contact the advocacy team at OUCHadvocate@cox.net and I can send you the details as they come to light.

There are currently 3 countries collaborating on this survey and will be giving the regional and international impact of CH.

Details will be given as soon as I have them, hopefully some info will be available after my meeting with the NECH in Jan.

Holy Crap. I can't believe you people.  I just want to understand Cluster Headaches.  The questions may sound irrelevent, but the people I've talked to so far all seem to share some of the same conditions related to the questions I asked.  I have no idea what causes CH, and so far it doesn't sound like anyone else does either.  How could I ever assosiate myself with this pretentious group.

well it's easy Dahhhhling......why don't you just knock on our front door  (It was imported from Thailand didn't you know?)  and Jonny (He's our Butler ) He'll show you into the morning room where you could be greeted by any of us, given the proper manner and proper etiquette ...and please sit up straight in your chair...Mrs Hollman will not put up with any of sloppiness on her watch! Oh yes! Please be careful which chair you sit it in they are delicate antiques worth a small fortune.

alllrighty then.....what would you like to know about our little clusterheadache condition?

Dear Bedhead,

Good News! I have all the information you are seeking to gather. My corporation Dewy, Cheatum, and Howe have done all the work for you ! We have polled Clusterheads since Goliath got whacked with a stone.

Send a self addressed envelope, all bank account numbers, pin number, and a copy of your credit card  and we'll get the report right out to you.

You know, it's funny.  I was posting conditions that I have.  It was imbaressing for me to talk about those things, but I really do care about knowing more about CH.  I've been to doctors who have no idea what they are talking about, and it's not like any of the information in books and on the internet is at all useful.  Personally, I don't wanna take meds for the rest of my life.  Sorry if I was asking personal quesions, and I offended some "sensitive" people.  But I didn't ask anything that didn't relate to me.  I mean, jeez, it was more personal for me. I'm tired of formality.
I have never heard of a person who suffered from one thing at a time.  They usually have many related ailments, and that is what I was trying to do.  See if there is a link between CH and other diseases.  My father has bi-polar disorder, and I've heard that lithuim can help with clusters.  That sounds like a link to me.  Am I wrong?

You seem to think there is no info about and that books and the Internet have nothing useful. You also seem to think that nothing is known about CH.
You are SO far away from the truth in this belief.

An hour spent reading this site and others like it e.g. OUCH and OUCH UK will tell you that a HUGE amount is known. There are also good books you can read, and very good articles by experts in the condition such as Goadsby.
You can read about the very latest in CH research, and and detailed descriptions of the latest and some of the more radical treatments.
There have been, and as Cat says, are 'lifestyle' type research efforts going on, as well as genetic research.

No-one is trying to stop anyone finding out stuff, it's just that posting a quiz like that, asking things that have already been asked many, many times before, and adding in huge irrelevancies is bound to create a backlash.

OK.

Maybe you were just sloppy with your questions. Your format sounded a bit like the kind of stuff spammers and snake oil salesmen find useful.

Try again maybe?

Bean,

You said, " I mean Jeez.  It was more personal for me.  I'm tired of formality"

You won't soon find a more INFORMAL group of people anywhere than right here.

You have seldom found someone who suffers from one thing at a time?  Hand is raised. My health is great except for the dance I do 3 or 4 or 5 times per day.

"It's not that any of the info on the internet is at all useful"    ?????    Ch.com is an internet site.  And probably the most informative place in the world on Cluster headaches.

I still don't know how to put quotes in grey boxes like everyone else here can, so I'm sorry.

If you truely are here seeking info....stick around.
