Just got Air tank delivered today. Do I have to have the rebreather mask with the bag or will mask be sufficient. Chronic for 7 years always just relied on imitrex but 3 or 4 a day was to dangerous, doctor had patient recently have strokes from over imitrexing so now I will try this oxygen thing but not sure of Quite how to use it. Yes the mask with a bag. It's called a NON-rebreather mask.

Until you get a non-rebreather, you can tape over the holes on the face mask and apply it to breathe and remove it to exhale.  Crank up the flowmeter!

No, it's not a headache--it's a Stage Ten Primary Chronic Periodic Idiopathic Trigeminovascular Cephalalgic Crisis.

FYI-  I just had oxygen delivered 2 days ago & they told me to never have the flow under 7.  You'll be breathing in carbon dioxide & is very dangerous.
My doctor has me on 7 to 10 for 15 to 20 mins. as needed.  Some say the oxygen is more effective if you put it up to 15, either way dont go below 7.

Good luck with it~
