Dread this time of year

The change from Daylight Savings Time to Standard Time and less daylight as we head into winter seems to mess with my internal clock. I've been out of cycle since June, after a 6 month long HA cycle which started in Jan, 04. If the past two years are any indication, I can look forward to the HAs starting again around the end of the year (oh boy) and lasting several months. I've never had the HAs start in summer and go to into winter.....always the other way around. Does anyone else have cycles like this?
In the past, I've tried to watch my sleep hours, trying to keep them the same......no naps, but it doesn't seem to help - I still go into a HA cycle. I guess I should be grateful for the headache-free periods, something others here don't get to enjoy. It's been great to be able to sleep all night uninterupted and not to have to take meds and give myself shots. That's life as a clusterhead I guess.

I'm a chronic who seems to cycle in fall and spring. All the time change does is have the clock look different at my "regular time". My 8:45 am regular hit now hits at 7:45. Hope you get some relief.

Well, these days I am chronic.
I've been on a cycle since October 2003. Usually my cycle starts in the middle of October.
I noticed that this year I've had more CHs in October and November (already) than I've had during the previous months. And they are bigger in Kip scale.
This is, indeed, a time of year to dread to me, too...

As the days shorten, our bodies note it
IT is published fact in science digests...
having Melatonin...it helps body "regulate"
but need also vitamin D, and other factors.
Too little sleep/ too much sleep....
it all adds up to PAIN.
Here' hoping you find good ways to cope.
and get to have more painfree days.
