My hubby works the night shift 7pm to 7am and has not gone to work for the past 8 weeks.  He is planning on going back this week, but is kind of afraid the change in his sleep pattern may make this cycle worse.  The past 2 weeks he is only getting about 2 H/A per  night (around 12am and then again about 3:00 am) and is basically pain free all day.  The 02 has aborted them during the night with no need for imitrex.

Anyone have any experience with this.

Thanks,
Connie

Connie,  I thought nothing could be worse than CH, then I learned all about CH and night shift.  Sorry I can't be more helpful but from my own experience,  the longer he can put off the better.

I work a rotating shift. Days, swingshift, days graveyard, repeat. Been doing it for 35+ years. In my case the changing shifts can trigger an attack if I get over tired. I learned a long time ago to pay attention to the clock and adjust accordingly. Just because it is dark doesn't mean it is time to sleep and the shining sun doesn't mean you have to be awake.
