I seem to have two Clusters at once!!

I have had a bad year of it (for me anyway).
I had a normal 6 week cluster that finished a few weeks before Xmas on the right side of my head.
Now I seem to have had it return on both sides.
The right sided in the night and the left sided during the day, lucky me.
The onset is slightly different as well being at the top of my neck on both sides (central) rather than the usual definite one sided warning.
Anyone else experienced this sort of thing?

I have had several (less than 10) hits on my left side (right side normally)...  Never both sides at the same time though.

I have typically been hit only on my left side. I have had a few that seem to radiate to the center of the back of my head, if that makes any sence, but the left eye is still effected and such.  Never gotten hit on both sides, ecept to say that the right eye seems to blurr when the pain is bad but not swell.

I have had a cluster on the left (the only side I get them so far) and a migraine which is much less painful on the right.
Any chance you get both or is the pain exactly the same?

I think what Chuffy is saying (please correct me if I'm wrong) is that it's alternating sides:

Right at night
left during day
right at night again
left during day again
etc

If so, this is not unprecedented based upon the information I've seen.  It is highly unusual but not unprecedented.

That's right, alternating.
Though the one I had last night seemed to be more central than right sided, sort of above the eyes.
Then again today left sider, regular as fecking clockwork!

Here is an update.
The heads I am getting at the moment seem to be 2 independant clusters happening at the same time.
Example: Yesterday I felt a left sider coming on so took the meds. Now that fixed it and, usually then I get no trouble for the next 24 hours as the meds (Cafergot) seem to kill them for that period at least.
Anyway later on that evening I got a belter on the right side.
It's almost as if the two sides are independant and don't respond to meds given for the other side, if you see what I mean, strange.

Welcome to world of clusterheadaches.  I have decided that these headaches have actual personalities and each one likes to feed on different things.   Good luck with the meds.  Feel better soon!
