Is there a connection with diabetes

i have clusters almost chronic, and i was just diagnosed with type 2 diabetes.  since i have been in treatment form my sugar problems, my attacks have cut in HALF.  it has been wonderful to find this.  i feel like my children finnally have their mother back, and i am a better wife.
i didn't know if  in some people there has been a connection with the pain and the diabetes.
i don't know it was just a thought.  the dr said he did not understand the connection, but it might be an avenue fro treatment.

I don't know about diabetes, but I am hypoglycemic. I know they aren't the same, but many similairities. I have noticed when I'm in cycle if I manage to eat right, the CHs don't seem to come is frequent.  Hard for me to do though, I'm one of the people who gets naseuas with my headaches.
I hope you can find out more about this and keep us posted!!

My diabetes started about 20 years ago. Since 1990 I take pills (gliclazide) to boost insulin production.
My CH started only in 1993.
I didn't notice any correlation between number or intensity of CH attacks and blood sugar level (that at times shoots over the desired limit).

I don't know of any connections, but any disease that has widespread effects on the body could interact with your neurotransmitters and trigger or make things worse.  Glad they caught the diabetes and that controlling it helps things.
