'Trex Vial Disposal Issue  NEED HELP!!!!!!!
« on: Dec 18th, 2004, 11:00am »
Quote Quote Modify Modify

Could someone please private message me and let me know the best way to go about disposing of some vials of 'Trex?

I do not want to do anything that would violate any laws regarding hazardous waste disposal and I don't want it ending up in the water supply and the pharmacy won't take it back.

It would be best to get rid of the vials before they expire because the 'Trex might degrade into an even more environmentally hazardous substance.

This was posted on the medication board but got no response.

I would also be interested in hearing from people who are broke and have no insurance who could give me some pointers on how they manage to get their prescriptions filled.

Thanks!

NO!!!!!!!!!  DON'T THROW AWAY YOUR OLD TREX!!!!  I KNOW THERE ARE PLENTY OF PEOPLE HERE THAT DESPERATELY NEED IT!!!

I'm sure there's a way to get it to those in need.  I know Carl has run out in the past.  He could probably use it.

Actually, in case you're interested, xpired trex works OK.

'Trex Vial Disposal Issue--NEED HELP

Thanks for the help so far;  however, I have heard from two people only and I would like two more people to offer their advice by private message.

Having four opinions to consider on this subject would make me feel better.  If someone could let me know tonight then I could dispose of this stuff on Monday.

Also, would still like to hear how people who are broke or without insurance or even those who can't get sufficient supplies of medication from their insurance company manage to get their prescriptions filled.

Merry Christmas!

Thomas

If ONE more person could private message me to help with this problem, I'd appreciate it very much.  This needs to be taken care of all at once tomorrow.

Frankly, I'm astounded at how difficult this issue is to handle.  Only three people have given me useful advice!

Thanks,
Thomas

Not sure I understand your quandry.  If you have useful advise from 3 people why are you shopping for more?  Trust your instincts or that of the folks that have taken the time to respond to you.
