Title: Elaine Could Use some Vibes....... Post by TxBasslady on Jan 1st, 2004, 9:31pm I posted this on the Davenport thread......but thought I should post for those of you who are not aware..... Elaine has been sick the last few days. Had a really bad headache (not CH), and yesterday evening she became pretty ill. Buddy took her to the ER about 2a.m....... Diagnosis........Pneumonia I talked to her this afternoon.....her headache had eased some, and the doc gave her some antibiotics for the pneumonia. Unfortunately, she won't be able to make it to Davenport. E........hope you are feeling a little better.... Brad has that crap too......he's not felt well or 100 % since he got the flu around Thanksgiveing and he was also complainin about a strange headache he could not shake but wasn't ch. Doc told him he is borderline pnemonia and if he hadn't come in within the next day or so and started on the high dose of antibiotics he'd of gotten alot sicker suddenly....scarey stuff !!! He's on 4, 000 mg's anitbiotics a day !!!!! The couch has become his best freind Pam |

Pneumonia can kick your butt up one side and down the other and if you dont do everything to get rid of it it comes right back. I know I had mine and came back to work after only 4 days off and ended up with it right back just as bad 2 weeks later. Please do what the docs say and rest. I know that it hard for all of us to sit and do nothing, but it is all that helps. |

I been sick for a month now, had a cold turn to the flu then Pneumonia By the time I got to the doctor I was about better I did all the right things to treat it, except quit smoking. The worst is pleurisy it hurts. Its all my own fault cause I am stuborn, as you all know. I deserve no sympathy LOL! I was gifeen the biggest shot in the world I think, my butts blue from it ! I am on meds and feeling much better. I am not ready to run a race to the mail box. I was feeling good enough to go for a ride with Buddy today. It was nice to get out of the house. The only time I been out of the house since before Christmas was to take the baby to the doctor and eat lunch with Judy. You guys stop all the fuss I am fine. Love ya'll and thanks! |
