In case you missed it...

T'was The Night Before A Clusterhead's Christmas

T’was the night before Christmas and all through the house
Not a creature was stirring, Not even a mouse
The stockings were hung by the chimney with care
In hopes that St. Nicholas soon would be there

I was already here nestled all snug in my bed
While visions of sugar plums danced in my head
And mama in her gown, and daddy in his cap
Had just settled down for a long winters nap

When from across the hall there rose such a clatter
I sprung from my bed to see what was the matter
I peered through the doorway and to my surprise saw
Daddy holding head as mom watched with awe

There were tears on his face rolling down to his chin
As he looked to the floor and said ‘Not again.”
He began pacing right next to the bed
In a back and forth motion, still holding his head

With a quiver and a shiver I felt real quick
I knew in a moment daddy must be sick
He yelled “Grab the ice!” as mommy came towards the door
I ran back to my room but still watched on in horror

She returned in a moment and I went back to see
Daddy was moaning and mumbling in such misery
He cried out to God and I got kind of scared
I couldn’t go into the room, I didn’t dare

With a mask to his face he breathed rapidly
Gasping for air, or so it seems
His hand never left his head, except to punch the wall
Mommy prayed silently , and I went back across the hall

What lasted an hour seemed likes days or maybe years
An unimagined terror way beyond all of my fears
I think it’s over now, at least they’ve turned out the light

modify'd cuz I spelled holidays wrong......oh the holidays are startin to get to me.......I didn't go to the dreaded baby shower today the inlaws had......shame on me......I have anouther black mark....supposed to go visit with the millionere sister visiting on her way to her NY mansion after that at the inlaws for the day. Two black marks for the coots. I jus don't feel up to it.....gettin ALOT of snow here today and goin down to zero. I'll take my black marks and wear em proud Pam (hell with rules)

Thanks you guys. And thanks for that poem Kevin.
I do have to say, there have been many many downs this year, but there have been many many ups this year too. After meeting so many ~~sickos~~ clusterheads in Nashville, I'll never be the same again. You guys help to keep me sane... and my 13 year old niece reminds me of how old I am too. OY! And I'm only party jew. ::)
