Title: Have you recovered?
Post by Tetris-addict on Dec 26th, 2004, 7:11pm
Just wondering how the holiday celebrations went
and if everyone is recovered yet.

I had less wrapping paper to discard this year,
and still got a few nice presents from Santa.

Of course the Beast couldn't stand to leave me be...
he visitised only 3 times in the past 24 hours....
and was kind enough to keep the pain below a level 5...

Wahoo!

Now it's jsut a matter of gearing up for work
Bright and early on Monday Morning.

Hope you all had a fantastic holiday,
and can't wait to see what happens for New Years!!!!!!

Hugs
and wishes for PFDAN for us all!

Trash can is full of wrapping paper (torn in shreds), tree is almost down -- took a nap instead of finishing it. Grandson is playing nicely with his new Santa toys and Papaw and I are yawning a lot. I refused to cook today and we've eaten snacks between my naps.

Only a week and it'll be New Year's Eve.... Joy joy joy......

Hugs BD

Like Coots, this place is a disaster, bits and parts everywhere, too tired to want to do anything about it today.

Recoverd?  I'd say more like we survived it....lol...least the walls are still in tact, the kitchen didn't burn down, and the kids still have all limbs, (digets are optional...lol)

Oh we may never recover ! I never seen so many toys in my life! Yes we spoil JD :-) ! Buddy spent Chrismas afternoon burning boxes wrapping paper. I feel on a toy and could not find a lighter I had. I just knew it was in all that wrapping paper. Buddy went through each sheet before he burned it.
I was so upset cause it was a special lighter. We found it late last night. It was in my house coat pocket.

Deveny and I spent Christmas afternoon and all day today. Putting the house back together. We finally had Christmas dinner tonight LOL!

Tomorrow we are going to finish ! We got all but the Den strighten out.  Its nice to have my living room back :-)!

Since JD open his toys the only time we see him is meal time and bed time LMAO!

No...and since there is no rest for the weary I don't forsee recovering anytime soon. :'(  Today I took my parents (both with Alzheimers and rather delusional) to a birthday party at my sisters newly built (and very nice) house. My mother kept trying to leave because "the guy who works here at this hotel is trying to molest me." Tomorrow my little house will be descended upon by 2 cousins and their 8 additional family members. I don't even like these 2 a whole lot, but they are coming to visit my Mom who will not know them from anywhere, and will probably accuse one of them of trying to molest her. (this has been a common delusion of hers)
Then it's time to help get the 6th grade science project on track, because 11 year olds don't stay on task during vacations without intense supervision. If only we could have found an experiment that included the Game Cube...

Ahhh...life is good. Will someone buy me a gun?

I am recovering as we speak with my new large can of three flavored pop corn. YUM.

I think I'll share a piece with Stewart. SNAP!

Large cans of 3 flavored pop corn has become to Christmas what candy corn is to Halloween.

Aw Nani so sorry to hear your parents are suffering from Alzheimers.  I can't begin to imagine how hard that must be.

I'm forever telling Sam to "just shoot me, shoot me now" but he won't listen to me (what else is new :P) I don't get a gun and neither do you! ;)  Hugs from WV coming at ya.

As for the origional question "have You recovered?" no freakin way.  What a disaster this house is, had work today then to the inlaws for dinner, just got home a bit ago and screw cleaning tonight.  I'll do a little then finish tomorrow.

OK....I'm takein a short break here......I think I am makein myself SICKER and CRAZIER tryin to get to some sort of recovery stage. I have boxes of stuff I am tryin to empty out and locate but am out of 'locations'. I have piles and piles of cookies people gave us we will NEVER eat covering my cupboards. I have been basically just spreading out the mess. I have a storage space deficency in this house anyhow so Xmas made it look like a flea market. I still have one more Xmas dinner to go to (Xmas is one day but why does it drag out for two weeks ?) and then......New Years Eve. It's back to work I go.....stress ho stress mess ho Pam

See? If you do what I do every year: Tell everyone that I'm sick, they leave me alone to enjoy my quart of cheap New York State Port wine and porn videos for the rest of the week.

What's so hard about this? http://www.netsync.net/users/charlies/gifs/noog.gif

Heh!  Recovered.  I had so much vacation/holiday time left to burn, and I am still carrying two weeks into next year.  No work for me this week (oh well... a few hours here and there).

Shaking up a mixer of Kamikazes right now, then we are firing up 'The Bourne Supremacy'.
