CRITICAL INFORMATION FOR DOG & CAT OWNERS

A post by KingOfPain jogged my memory of a news report yesterday on the Diamond Dog Food Company. Seems they produced some food under several names that is poisonous to dogs. Check you dog's food and be sure to check to see it is affected.
Updated to Add: The site also lists several cat food varieties that are affected as well.
KingOfPain found out that According to Diamond/Professional, only the food made at the Gaston, SC plant was affected. The code will have a "G" in it. More information can be found on the company's web site.

Thanks guys I just hope they get all the food recalled so no more animals suffer.Still praying for a Christmas miracle for Molly.We try so hard to do the best for our animals sometimes ya just never know........

I 'thought' it sounded like poisoning of sum sort too and mention'd that...........dam...........we feed our pets well and take for granted what we feed them is safe !! I used to use Diamond years ago but the pieces in the kitten food were too large and hard for them when I raised siamese so I switched back. None of the pet stores seem to carry it now but I think some of the grain equity's do. Food for thought Pam
