Title: How's this for irony?
Post by JenniferD on Dec 29th, 2005, 7:42am
2 years ago, I lost my job at Crapital One because of outsourcing.

Today I have an interview with an outsourcing company.... whose location is in the old Crapital One building.

And being interviewed by a woman I know who also worked at Crap1.

weird.

Good luck Jen.  Strange sometimes, how things turn out.  Perhaps this will be your golden opportunity.

yeah but here's the kicker:

I really don't WANT the job!  :(

The hours suck, the pay seriously sucks, the hour drive each way sucks.

In two short years, my income has dropped $16,500!!!!

And if they offer me a job (btw: the interview went well),
I HAVE TO take it by virginia employment commission guidelines or I lose my unemployment benefits. And the weekly salary will be a whopping $59 a week more than what I am getting from unemployment  :(

Sorry for bitching. I am just really really really depressed by the whole turn of events.

Editted to add: I shoulda f'ed up the interview with saying something like, "Why did you leave your previous employment?"   "Well, my previous employer was a catty, conniving, maggot living in pig dung whose fat ass was jealous because I beat her in a weight loss contest."

;) I guess that's why they call it work. And because you dont want the job you more than likely will get it.  :oThis one really gets my wife.. seems like generally the more you make the less you do to earn it. :P
Good luck,,I think

I just had a picture of a displaced Viking shoving a Christmas Tree in a car and breaking the window. It seems relevant somehow. (Outsourcing will be the death of us all.)

Picture it being shoved up the fat ass of my ex-boss. Much better visual.
