In my half asleep stupor, loading a trex shot so I can take it out and do the trex tip, I accidentally hit the button, and there went one whole 6mg dose, all over the place. Terrific. Now I have one shot left, with only 2 doses, because I had to take some just now, 12:15am. And I cant get anymore until next week because of my &^^^&% insurance.
Gonna be a fun couple of weeks

Hey Kristen, My doc gave me some samples of some other triptans like Maxalt to tide me over until I could get Imitrex again. They are pills so don't work as quickly, but did offer relief within 20 min. Could he do that for you? dagger

SFD-----with relief only a shot away. I have never taken a shot of imitrex, but the pills help alot. I know its hard to think when under the controll of the beast, and I bet ya never waste a hot shot again. I have found myself on the floor looking for the pill I lost.

My husband jokingly said, " you could go and lick it up."
I had half a mind to try.  lol
anyway, i was able to get more when i explained what happened to my pharmacist...he said those injectors don't work right anyway, that they are working on a redesign, and gave me more trex!  How cool was that? I couldn't believe it. Maybe worth a try for you?
If not lots of ice on the head is good too!
