That's funny... I have thought about making a helmit kinda contraption where threaded rods with rubber cups are statigically set in place so I can turn them in at the pressure points needed instead of using my hands and fingers. My wife just laughed at me saying I was nuts. (what's new). Haven't made it yet, but one day I just might.

I'm sure it's possible. I already use a message vibrator that I press as hard as I can on those pressure points. Just have to use the same mechanics.

When I am getting hit, I've found that it's just as effective (and a hell of a lot less masochistic) to gently and rhythmically "pat" the area over the affected eye with the fleshy portion of my palm. It seems to diffuse the pain; "spread it out" a little.

I cant take the triptans and thats the only thing that really worked for me. So I appreciate all the posts on this site. Too bad theres not a board with alternative methods for those that want to share. I know that there are a few salesman out there pushing a load of crap, but for .1% of the population, and probably only 10% of them, I don't see a big profit headed their way.

I've use sinus medication during a cycle because my nose gets completely blocked during a hit. Its usually my first symptom that its coming. And I swear by it. Nothing worse than being unable to breath your o2.

I checked out the sinusbuster website last year after a snake oil salesman made his rounds. After reading through the website and finding many contradictions and some plain old incorrect info, I e-mailed the company to point out the errors and inconsistancies. All I got back was some double talk, a few excuses and an offer to sell me their product from some guy named Bob using someone named Joyce's e-mail account.
