Seems like I have one major trigger...and that is my disc problems in my neck...it took me awhile to convince my Doc that this what the trigger...but now there is documented proof of it....heck, i could have documented that for them years ago....My neuro/pm doc is going to put Botox in my neck next month to see if that will help...He cant do it sooner as he put it in my hip two months ago...maybe then the beast will go back into hibernation.....Hope everyone is doing good! smiles, nancyc

My last neuro believed this to be true as well. That not all my Ch where triggered by my neck but at least some where.  Said that I had Occipital Neuroalgia.  That my neck was so tweeked out with the nerves and disks that it was triggering th ON and the ON was triggering at least some of my CH.  Which the CH was making me tense even more which was triggering more ON.

Seemed like a vicious cycle to me.  Had me on 5 weeks of Physical Therapy to try and get my neck worked out at least some.  Really did not help much.

Sorry hun. But I am glad that he is at least listening to you now.

Neck triggers are a major problem with me also.I had and MRI done last year and doc said that I have some bone disease in my spine at the neck. It's not much more than arthritis but enough to trigger a CH.His recomendation was Botox we tried to get my insurance to pay the bill($1500.00)but same old crap, they denied my claim.Still waiting for them to accept Botox as a real medicine.Good luck and keep us posted on the results. thumbsup thumbsupDavid

I have some disk issues in my neck as well.  I think it is a trigger.  If it isn't I would be suprised as much as it pops and cracks ...

So, Too Long have you tried the botox yet? If so, did it work? According to the research, the mechanism of the neck thing going on with me is affecting the trigeminal nerve.....interesting stuff.....smiles,nancyc
