You guys are so helpful - THANKS!

I found this sight a few days ago and asked a question here and on the cluster headaches section of the board. Thank you to all who answered my question about mild clusterheadaches. (No such thing it sounds like) After researching some more (thanks to your helpful siggestions) I think that Ice pick headaches sound right on. Since I have had migraine issues and these can go hand in hand.

My heart and prayers go out to you all who have true cluster headaches. Way worse than what I have dealt with.

I wonder for any of you females out there, if viatmin B-6 and magnesium will help you if you notice any connection to your monthly hormone changes bringing on headache issues. Be careful to not take too much B-6. I take 100 - 200 mg B -6 every other day along with 500 mcg of B-12, 400 mg folic acid, 200 - 600 mg magnesium, 300 mg calcium. Then on the opposite day I take a Women's multivitamin.

I've heard that men and women are finding supplemental magnesium to help with migraines. Worth checking it out to see if it can bring any relief for cluster type headaches.

Hey GIGG

Sorry to hear about your icepiks...but glad to hear they probably arn't clusters.  All head pain sucks!!  I just wish the scientists would spend as much time on this stuff as they do on trying to cure a pimple.

Thank's for the kind words and "Merry Christmas"  There I said it!!  lol  Roll Eyes

I have migraines, clusters and bouts of those ice pics too.

I take B2 and magnesium for my migraines(not hormone related). No clue if it helps any of them really.
