Title: euphoria
Post by joey_the_grip on Sep 25th, 2005, 4:27am
Does anyone else feel euphoria as the headache ends? Not just relief but a really good buzz and the non-linear more creative type of thinking people report from some illegal drugs. And is this without taking anything that would have such an effect?

yes !
i always thought it was the endorphins released that are still washing through the system, though I know jack about it so I will just agree, the buzz is definitely a high !

Yep. To me, it feels like the afterglow of sex, or the way it feels after finishing a cross-country run on a cool, clear summer night.

I don't feel a 'high' after a hit, only relief.

i do feel this euphoria, and I attribute it to the fact that i have survived another "unsurvivable" cluster. no matter how many of these i have had in the past and lived through, when i am in mid cluster i feel the sense of dread and get the feeling that the cluster will never end. its a sense of hoplessness and helplessness unique to this affliction. when the cluster does come to an end i just want to hug my wife and thank god i survived.
