Hello all,
Last night i woke with a tremendous throbbing headache 2 hours after falling asleep, however it didnt affect my eye as a normal CH would do and i havent had a CH for over 24 hours. I had this crushing pain all night which made me vomit but the imigran injections didnt work, i am now sitting at work feeling totally spaced out, shattered but this thing will not go away. from your experiences is this part of CH ??? or is this something different

looks like its different stu could it be a tension or rebound headache?

Stu it could be another kind of headache that's not CH ...PLEASE call your doctor ....if it's new for you, give that doc a call.

Yup!!

Some of us get multiple HA types in addtion to CH.
It's a fun party in our brains.
My favorite is the CH/Migraine/Icepick/Variant combo that has you wanting to pace but you need to laydown but you spz out with tick like movements till you collapse.

Speaking of which, I got hit with a full blown arthritic migraine yesterday afternoon (the hugging the bed, don't move, don't make noise, don't touch me, all that fun stuff kind). I hurt too damn bad to even groan. Some idiot had the nerve to call sometime after dark (my son) and I'm not sure what I said, but it wasn't "motherly". Finally got knocked out and slept that one off and woke up about 4 a.m. with a CH (only about a 4) so now I'm on coffee and O2! My son just popped in to see if Mom was alive and I was nicer than on the phone last night, but he didn't stay long. I just LOVE days like this.....

Get to a doctor and find out if you're having a double whammy.... It does happen...
