Title: I NEED A HEAD TRANSPLANT!
Post by nancyc on Dec 18th, 2005, 2:50am
This is getting ridiculous....I have been getting hit back to back with chs..Especially when I lay down at nite....then all of a sudden, I realize what the heck is going on...I have a sinus infection...My head feels like a watermelon full of crap...and this is triggering off my clusters bigtime...I have had sinus infections before but this has never messed with my clusters....I feel like I am walking around with a huge, swollen, nerve inflamed watermelon on my shoulders! When the chs are not hitting, the sinus headache is killing me....What a life LOL.... smiles, nancyc

Three weeks ago I woke up with a really high fever. The throat was killin gme and my ear hurt so I took myself to the doctor.
It turned out that I had infections in my ear and throat and my sinuses were very infected/
The doctor says to me that I probably mistook it for cluster activity.
He is correct. For so many years I had my clusters treated as sinusitis thatwhen I finally get treated for cluster I forget to treat my sinus problems. [smiley=laugh.gif]
Anyway, I hope you feel better and go get that taken care of!

Ow...that happened to me last year, Nancy. Damn near killed me. Once I got the infection cleared up, I returned to my "normal" level of activity. Lots of fluids, antibiotics and decongestants, hon. You'll be feeling better soon. hugs, nani

Gallagher Nancy, Gallagher. ;)

That's what I think of when getting hit, Gallagher with his big hammer just splattering my head like a watermelon.

I'm so sorry hon, for everything you're going through. :(

have been getting hit back to back with chs..Especially when I lay down at nite..

I have found that going to sleep sitting up helps. Hits are usually less severe and I catch them earlier.

Yeah, i noticed the same thing....i just found out i also have a sinus infection...think the pressure has been triggering off my chs....if i sit up and sleep, i dont get hit as bad at nite..maybe you need to get your sinuses checked out too...i am finding sinuses, bad discs in my neck and several other things are triggers for me...smiles,nancyc
