never met other ch suffers

I am just glad to hear that I am not alone.
For 15 years I have been suffering with clusters.
My doctors did not seem to understand. They thought
I was having mygrains. Need help with meds.
I am 43 years old and would like to see another 40.
Thanks for a place to relate with someone who understands.

Well, I guess you'll just have to walk down the street in July to Nashville and meet a whole bunch of us.  You need to find an abortive that works, that is the #1 priority. Then work on finding a preventive strategy that works.

Me too. I just joined last week and have learned more in this week than any Dr told me in 18 yrs!
Mission #1 for you = GET A TANK OF OXYGEN! Medical or welding, there is no difference except for price. It's a life saver! No shit...

You are not alone! My husband (43) just started this shit. Nobody deserves this. NOBODY!!
Since we are first timers, we don't have sage advice, but we can tell you that there is strength in numbers. Knowing that we are not alone is a huge help.
Pain, pain, pain. What a demon. We call it the Enemy in this house. The Enemy attacks. We are currently looking for ways to attack the Enemy back. We'll let you know what those ways are when we know.
Get a neurologist. We just got one and he put my husband on Verapamil. 3 days into it. 10 hours pain free today, but one GrandDaddy of an attack tonight. Hopefully the pain free trend continues.
You are in our thoughts.

Read all the info in the links on the left. You'll learn alot about meds and also home remedies that work for some.
Don't be afraid to ask questions and by all means, let us know how you're getting along.
