Well here I am again with the Beast!  It has been four years almost to the day that I had my last bout.
I am now on day 26 and again today started new meds.
I feel like I have lost a month of my life.  I am not fun to be around any more.  I want my life back!

I think that this is an awesome website and have referred my co-workers to it, perhaps they will understand it a bit better when I say it will be yet another week before I am back at work.

Welcome, sorry about the return of "the Thing That Wouldn't Leave". A four year remission is a good long one, though, at least you had that.

Glad you found this site, you're right, it is awesome. Read up on everything. Since it's been four years for you I hafta ask, have you tried o2? Check out o2 info on the menu to the left. Works great as an abortive for lots of us.

How long are your cycles? Are you near the end? What kind of med are you using?

Hope you're not getting too much shit at work. I know in my case it helped a lot to educate my co-workers. I hope yours are as understanding.

Let us know how you're doing. Good or bad. Lots of support here either way.

Again, welcome.

Hi ReillysMom
Sorry to hear you have a reason to find support for your pain, but glad you did!!
What meds did they put you on?
Don't forget to check out OUCH Canada - there's a bunch of Canadian clusterheads there now....maybe even someone in your neighbourhood!!

p.s.  I just checked your profile and see that you're from Winnipeg!  Or should I call it Winterpeg?  You're actually the first Canadian clusterhead we've found from Manitoba.  We were beginning to think that maybe there was something in the air out there and were starting to pack our bags to move there en masse.  Figured maybe that Portage and Main had a secret cluster elixir cure or something....  Wink

Welcome Mom to the fold. Sorry you have to deal with this horror but you are no longer alone. If you stick around you'll find good ideas and ways to help deal with Ch.  Here is a technique that worked well for me:
