Goood morning, Loopy and welcome to the clusterboard.  I've Been to the fair island of Anguilla and the not so fair island of St. Martin. Have friends from Grenada, and St. Lucia, and knew someone at University from Barbados.

Hey hey,

Well hello.   Sorry to hear you didn't like St. Marteen.  The french side is one of my favorite places.

So when are you coming back down.   As you know already it's a great place to be!

A good friend of mine was from Barbados. Played on an international cricket team. His daughter is a singer on the island.

And you're going to leave me to try and figure out who she and he are?  That's not very nice.  There's lots of Cricketers with daughters!

So when are you coming down to visit them?  It's a great place to be.  I've said it before and I"ll say it over and over.  Some one is bound to believe me!

I love Barbados too.  I would like to ask why you chose your particular moniker.

Do they even make girdles anymore?  If so, why would you want to sniff one?

*smile*

Well unfortunately my friend has passed on. I worked with him on a professional level for some years and he would tell me stories of his Cricket playing days. I have the team flag he had given to me. He eventually became a world class body builder.

And did I mention that a finer "gentleman" you could never meet.

He had always wanted me to come to Barbados and meet his family and Rasta friends. Unfortunately, because I was working with him on a professional level (he was my client) I was never able to do that.

I will never forget him. Through years of trials and trubulations that make CH look like a mosquito bite I worked and stood by him. He never once complained of anything.

Well Kris for a whole bunch of reasons.
Quite a while ago I got one of those silly e-mails that says the first letter of your name means blah blah blah, and the third letter mean so on and so forth, and you put it all together for an new name.   This went around a few of my friends and mine stuck.

Also I'm a sailor.  For a few years I sailed on an otherwise all Girls crew.   The name stuck some more.

Well Don,

Your friend may not be here, but Barbados is still around and waiting for you.   Believe me you won't regret it!    Your job can't stop you taking a vacation.  Think on it.

Well I can't really answer that question.  I live here, and so have never stayed at a hotel.  There's loads of info on the web.   Check it out.
