Title: safety in numbers.. first experiences? Post by edoubleitk on Jun 12th, 2004, 4:58am Good morning, Feels kinda weird thinking this but it is sort of nice to know that others are up @ 4 in the morning pacing around like me. I hope all find some kind of comfort or relief in something!!! I have my first Neuro Appt. monday morning and wanted to know what people's experiences were like. Should I arm myself with anything other than complaints. This group/site is certainly educating me and it is appreciated. Any people on Long Island pacing there homes now? Anyway hard to think straight. Be well, E |

Good idea to print out what info you think you'll need and take it with you. How long have you had CH? Have you ever taken any meds for it? Let us know how things go for ya at the doc on Monday. Title: Re: safety in numbers.. first experiences? Post by Little Deb on Jun 12th, 2004, 8:50pm Welcome. Sorry to have to meet you like this. On the OUCH site, there are some great forms to take with you to your doctor to have him fill out........one for an ER visit, to say you are not a drug seeker and that you do have more than just a headache............. and one for your employer that helps explain what is going on with you. Take as much info as you can to the doctor. If he says he understands your pain because he has "migraines" too...........RUN!!!!!!!!!!!!!! and find another doctor. Let us know how it goes. good luck..............Little Deb |
