Hello kelliev,

I have had stage IV endo that was removed back in 1999 along with an ovary.  The pain is hellacious, so I completely understand your misery!  I'm sorry you are going through both, but hope you have a good ob/gyn to help you out with that area.

Good luck to you!

Gena

Sorry to hear you are having the adominal pains Gena.  Unfortunately, with endo, the only way they can confirm a diagnosis is with a laparoscopy. :-/  Check out a couple of these links... www.endometriosisassn.org & www.endometriosis.org

good luck!

Already checked out those sights, thanks.
The last dr. appt, She saw I was on some meds when she asked why I told her I also had clusterhead aches. It was like someone filp a switch. She talked about how some people are always in pain, that even thought it feels real to me..... I need to seek counsleing....
So I left with a referal for counseling and a RX for Ibprofine :P. Apperently I am not allowed to have headpain that she does not understand and abdominal pain as well with out being crazy ::)

that's okay....they aren't well known for
good bedside manner.

My first appt with a obgyn  and she discussed
very few things with me.
as I was leaving she handed me about 4 prescritpions,
one read
"Rx :Obesse
     seek weight watchers...."

i was so offended.
Because she had never asked me about my diet habits
or even what exercise I was getting.

I gained 50 pounds without changing my eating habbits
and that's with exercising 2 hours every day...
so go figure.

I had a choice...be mad or laugh.
I was mad a little while....then laughed it off.
She ended up being my biggest helper
during a rough year ....

Sometimes they say things, hoping it will
give you something to investigate...
rather than sitting still....but I know it comes out
wrong.....

Obviously she knows little to nothing about pain,
and you need to move on quickly....to another
doctor who will listen to your side of things,
and work with you.

There are some doctors that actually let you talk
and ask questions...those are the keepers.
Find someone who will work With you and FOR
YOUR BEST INTERESTs...not someone open
for more insurance claims....

Best wishes.
TJ
