Here's a bunch of poems for ya. No Christmas ones just yet but I'll see what I can do. Anyways.
The Jump & A Memory
I stand here, on the ledge.
Blankly looking down.
Stepping over the edge.
Plunging to the ground.
Suddenly I'm in your arms,
On a beach far, far away.
Breathing the sweet breeze.
Wishing here to forever stay.
Now you're gone.
And the ground's just ahead.
I feel the hit coming.
BAM! I'm dead.
You and I
You glance at me.
I glance at you.
And both of us turn away.
You love her.
I love you.
And our love is useless.
You walk on.
I watch you go.
And life is the same.
You glance at me.
I glance at you.
And both of us, turn away.
Broken Butterfly
Torn wings, on a wilted thing.
Rest on a flower, dying by the hour.
Caught in the rain. Feel life's pain.
A beatuiful but broken,
Butterfly.
Standing in the Court Yard
Standing in the court yard.
Staring at the sky.
Dancing in the rain.
Wishing I could fly.
Standing in the court yard.
Act as no one's there.
Sing right out loud.
Dreaming like I wouldn't dare.
Standing in the court yard.
Laying on the grass.
It finally stopped raining.
I watch the clouds pass.
Standing in the court yard.
Staring at the sky.
Dancing among the puddles.
Wishing I could fly.
Standing in the court yard.
A Goodmorning
Standing in the morning light.
Heaven surounds as you sleep.
Angels whisper and fairies sing.
Dancing across your small face.
Only for a moment, until you wake.
Eyes search until they meet mine, & smile.

I know they're a little different from some of my others but you know how it is. Pen meets paper and the words just come out. I'm glad you like them Kimberly. Sorry that they aren't what does it for you, Charlotte. I'll see if I can fnd something a little different for you. And I really wasn't being sensitve; silence for an artist is like putting a hyper active cheerleader in a room by herself with nothing to do. In other words, hell. Hope everyone likes them.

It reminds me of when the kids were little, and they still smiled at me when I woke them, LOL. I only get scowls and grunts now.

The funny thing is that I wrote "A Goodmorning" while watching my baby sister,Beth, sleep. Hellian by day but so sweet while she sleeps. April talks to much(either way ). "Standing in the Court Yard" was writen while hanging with my friend Barbie. She's very flakey and loves to play in the rain.  Matt, you're right: they are a bit dark. But that's just me, as you all know.  I was in a spot where the sky was black and life was a living hell and nothing was worth it any more. Much better now though. I'll see if I can whip some more up for ya real soon. Glad you all like 'em.
