Title: Goofy Local News Headlines

I know you all can come up with some "zingers."

Our local publisher believes in placing a local news story on the front page - regardless of what else is happening in the world.

Last night's newspaper headline .....

"South Haven Officials Don't Know Why the Sewer Smells So Bad"

LMAO!

What you got?

Kris

Intoxicated "gentleman" gets behind his local politicians and shows them what "real" kick backs are before being arrested by police.

Many years ago; before a lot of you existed; during the Love Canal mess by Hooker Chemical Co. and others in the Niagara Falls area, our local paper had this one:

"State Sues Hooker Over Love Dump" http://www.netsync.net/users/charlies/gifs/chewpaper.gif

Here in Vegas a man robbed a shoe store and while running across the parking lot dropped his cell phone. A witness to the scene saw the phone and took it to the shoe store. While the police were at the shoe store investigating the robbery the bad guy called his own number to see if anyone had found his phone. The police, without identifying  themselves, said they had it and he could come get it. The bad guy was arrested a few minutes later.
